Have you ever wondered how to open word documents on your iPad? We know that you’ve probably thought about it a time or two and some have even thrown in the towel. But have no fear, we have a how-to that can help you get access to your documents right from your iPad. It might even prove simpler than you thought.

To access Office files saved on your computer from your iPad or iPhone, simply upload the files to your OneDrive, Dropbox, or a team site. Also, you can use the tried-and-true method of emailing it to yourself through an attachment and then opening it up on the iPad.

If you are working from your computer, open your web browser and go to your OneDrive, Dropbox, or Microsoft 365 team site.

  1. Upload your file.
  2. Sign into your iPad.
  3. Tap and sign into the service where your file is saved, and Open to find the file.
  4. If you already have a file open, tap Back first.

Just like that you should be able to access your documents on your iPad at any time from anywhere. Shoot over a message if you find yourself stuck. I’ll be more than happy to help!
